Review: MOA THE GREEN BALM

Today I’m writing for you short and sweet and long overdue review of the MOA The Green Balm. I’m saying ”overdue” as I’ve been using this for many months now and it’s my absolutely holly grail product and I really wanted to make it the first one to have an individual review on my blog 🙂

MOA The Green Balm

So what is it exactly? I the words of the creators, Magic Organic Apothecary : ”The Green Balm is a 100% natural multi-purpose healing/beauty balm, and some might say, it’s a miracle! NO NASTIES, just plenty of wholesome, natural stuff, so the whole family can use The Green Balm even if you have sensitive skin. Keep a little pot handy for any little crisis. This cult product is crammed with MOA’s hero herb organic yarrow (Achillea millefolium), used for centuries to soothe, heal and repair, tea tree oil, nature’s powerful antiseptic, beeswax to protect and finally coconut, sweet almond and soy bean oils help to soften and nourish the skin.”

MOA The Green Balm

I couldn’t agree more that it’s a miracle! It’s really superior to all the other multipurpose/everything/beauty/healing balms I’ve tried. Mainly because it doesn’t only soothe and nourish. It has antibacterial and antifungal properties thanks to tea tree, coconut and yarrow. It helps a lot with my perioral dermititis (which I’m going to write about soon). It doesn’t make it disappear overnight, but neither does the prescription antibiotic ointment. Still, it helps it heal quickly and soothes. This is what I’m most grateful to this balm for, but it’s amazingly versatile. I love it as a cleanser. It works better that many other cleansing balms or creams at removing make up. But you could also use it if you don’t wear any make up, or as a morning cleanse. The wet cloth/flannel removes it brilliantly leaving no residue, just nourished, happy skin. You love Liz Erle Cleanse&Polish, or Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm, or any others? You will love this too, and possibly more. It’s creamy texture also allows it to be used as a night time moisturizer/treatment all over your face, not only on some problem areas. If you like face oils, this will be an interesting addition to your night treatments arsenal. If you have dry skin you will love it. If you have oily, acne prone skin you will love it.

MOA The Green Balm

It’s truly a do-it-all product, my holly grail and one I would take with me to a desert island 🙂
